We are happy to share that our paper (Project 3: From Text to Deep Data) on the linguistic annotation of perspectives has been accepted for a poster presentation at the 10th International Conference on Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC 2016)! The conference will take place May 23-28 (2016) in Portorož, Slovenia.
On 8 December 2015, the Amsterdam Academic Alliance (AAA) held its launch event on Responsible Data Science at the VU University Amsterdam with over 90 attendees.
The event, chaired by Maurits Martijn from De Correspondent, comprised two keynotes presenting their perspective on responsible data science from both technical (Gusz Eiben) and moral (Jeroen van den Hoven) viewpoints, and a discussion session with panelists including Bart Voorn (Ahold group) and Berent Daan (Gemeente Amsterdam).
After the keynotes and the discussion session, we presented the current status of our work. You can find our posters through the links below:

QuPiD2 stands for Quality and Perspectives in Deep Data. It entails three interdisciplinary projects, embedded in the Humanities and Computer Science research groups of VU University Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam, and aiming at good synergy with other Amsterdam Data Science use cases.
